How to enter Bangladesh

There are two ways to enter Bangladesh.

• 1. By air through Dhaka International Airport, Sylhet Osmani or Chittagong Shah Amanat.
• 2. By land through Benapole border.

Tourism Visa

Since we are a tour agency, we are only going to dive further in to the tourism visa.
There are two ways to obtain a visa for tourism.

• The nearest embassy
• Visa on arrival

The nearest embassy

You can get a tourism visa valid up to 2 months.
For that you need the following:

• Online application through https://www.visa.gov.bd/
• Bring a printed copy of your application
• 2x passport size picture of you
• Invitation letter from your hotel / friend / tour agency
• 1x copy of your passport. The page with your face on it.
• Tourist declaration form (obtained from your embassy)
• 1x ID or passport copy from the person who invited you.

The applicant must apply in person at the embassy

Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival is available for all EU countries.
Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Iceland, Japan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, New Zealand, North Korea, Norway, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Russia,
Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates,
United Kingdom, United States

Visa on arrival is only available through the 3 international airports of Bangladesh. Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong.
And one land border, Benapole.

The visa fee is 51 Dollar, Euro or Pound.

You need the following documents:

• Passport, obviously.
• Return ticket
• Invitation letter
• Travel itinerary
• Copy ID / Passport of the person who invited you

There are reports that you can enter the Benapole land border without any documents except your passport.
This is true, but it is not according how it should be.
Visa issue depends on the officer on duty.
